Whatcom Youth Sports is proud to sponsor the 25th Annual 2014 Rimland Pacific Cup Tournament. This tournament focuses on bringing in the highest level girls' teams throughout the Western United States and Western Canada to the Northwest Soccer Park. The Rimland Pacific Cup has a superb history of providing high level girls competition, and has a reputation of being a well-organized, first class tournament.

Details
Tournament entry fee:U10-11 $500.00 and U12-19 $550.00 per squad in US funds. Each squad is guarnateed 3 match minimum with ALL teams playing one match on Friday and two on Saturday. Semi-finals and finals are played on Sunday.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL TEAMS NEED TO BE PREPARED TO PLAY AS EARLY AS 2:00 PM ON FRIDAY.
There will be specific signs indicating both teams and coaches only on one sideline. Spectators on the other sideline.

The Puma Rimland Pacific Cup will be offering FREE RV Camping on a first come-first serve basis. Camping will only be permitted on in the southeast section of the Northwest Soccer Park, please refer to NWSP Field Map for location.
The camping area will open on Friday morning August 8.

1.  Complete the online registration-click here to register your squad.

2. Please pay using check, money order or cashier's check in US Funds or pay on-line with a credit card. If paying by check please make sure to include your online registration number on your check and payable to WYS (Whatcom Youth Sports).
3.  Mail in payment no later than by July 7, 2014 to PUMA Rimland Pacific Cup Tournament, 1225 Civic Field Way, Bellingham, WA  98229. Please note that the tournament at a particular age group may fill up prior to the deadline date and we cannot guarantee acceptance the closer to the deadline of July 7, 2014
4.  Application is not complete until payment is received at the tournament office.

CONCUSSION COMPLIANCE
PLEASE NOTE:
All players are required to be in concussion compliance per Washington State Law. If you are an Washington team, your final roster must reflect concussion compliance. If your squad is from outside of Washington, you must have a signed copy of the Concussion Compliance Informed Consent form for each player available for reveiw at check-in. FORMS:

Entry Fee: U10-11 $500.00 and U12-19 $550.00 per squad in US funds. Checks or money orders need to be made payable to WYS (Whatcom Youth Sports). Team's applications are not considered complete until fees are paid in full. Entry fee refunds shall not be made after July 7, 2014.  We will continue to accept applications after the deadline date if there is space available, otherwise your check will be returned and you will be placed on a waiting list.

Tournament Location:
Northwest Soccer Park, 5238 Northwest Drive, Bellingham WA and potentially at Ferndale High School depending on the number of squads attending.  The Northwest Soccer Park is one of the finest soccer complexes in the Northwest, featuring a fully equipped concession building and restroom facility, 31 acres of lush green grass, and a breathtaking view of Mt. Baker.  The Northwest Soccer Park is located in Northwest Washington State, just 10 minutes from downtown Bellingham and 20 minutes from the Canadian boarder. Ferndale HS, located 5 minutes away from Northwest Soccer Park will have 3 high quality grass fields which may be used in the event of the number of teams applied. This region offers spectacular sightseeing opportunities from the mountains to the sea. Hotels, shopping and entertainment are only minutes away.

Acceptance:  The Rimland Pacific Cup is a high level all girl's tournament.  In an attempt to provide the highest level of competition teams will be accepted based on: 1) State Cup Champion  2)Out of state 3) Overall team strength 4)Previous tournament history. The Rimland Pacific Cup strives to create equitable levels of competition and if we have enough teams we will form a second tier bracket within an age group. 

Format:  The Rimland Pacific Cup divisions are established to attempt to field the strongest level of competition for girl's soccer possible.  Where applicable we will attempt to have two divisions PREMIER (upper level) and COPA (lower level) at each age group to provide appropriate levels of competition. Teams will play in a four team matrix whenever possible and be guaranteed at least three games.U10 & 11 will play 25 minute halves. U-12-U14 will play 30 minute halves and U15-U19 will play 35 minute halves.  U10 & 11 teams will play 9 a-side on a 50 yd x 90yd field. U12-19 will play 11 a-side on full size fields. We reserve the right to combine or modify age divisions should the need arise to balance competition.

Schedules: We anticipate schedules to be available no later then July 28, 2014. We try to accommodate all requests for late games on Friday. However, this is not always possible. Please be prepared to play a match as early as 2 PM on Friday afternoon. All teams will be scheduled to play one game on Friday and two games on Saturday. Semifinal and finals will be played on Sunday.

Awards:  1st and 2nd place winners in each division will receive individual awards and one team award. All rostered players and coaches will receive a tournament mementos.

Withdrawing from the Tournament: After July 7, 2014, teams wishing to withdraw from the tournament must notify us in writing. There will be no refunds issued to teams withdrawing after July 7th.  Prior to July 7, 2014, teams wishing to drop out must notify us in writing; refunds will be issued less a $35.00 handling fee.
